On Friday, June 5, we were joined by Peniel Joseph, Ph.D., professor and founding director of the LBJ School’s Center for the Study of Race and Democracy at The University of Texas at Austin and Jay Williams, president of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving in discussion on the roots of racism and inequality in our nation, the history of resistance movements, and specifically how inequality manifests in our Greater Hartford community today.
